sweeping up stars
was set up in 2016 in order to create a collection of contemporary prints, patterns and designs developing my own style to licence, sell and develop into products alongside my lecturing and contracted freelance work.
As a designer I have enjoyed working for many years for several UK high street companies. I have a versatile colourful style and have enjoyed designing and promoting childrenswear, young fashion. lingerie, gifting, toys, and accessories both full time and on a freelance basis. I enjoy the variety of working with different customers and working quickly to their brief considering all the cost, production and sustainability requirements. I can create designs and ranges from concept through to final specs and promotion.

I like to keep the illustrative hand drawn feel of my original sketches and paintings but repeat them digitally in modern clean colourways. In developing my range of products I am keen to seek out local manufacturers or companies with sustainable and ethical values.
